Logic Pro November 2026 update

Logic Pro’s November Update Adds an AI Assistant and Smarter Music Tools

Logic Pro is getting an AI assistant, smarter sound browsing and expanded drum separation in November’s Apple Creator Studio update. There’s also a Liquid Glass redesign coming to Mac and iPad.

Apple’s new assistant combines Apple and OpenAI models to help users navigate workflows, start songs, set up vocal tracks through prompts and refine projects. Apple hasn’t clarified how much of the assistant’s processing happens on your Mac and how much relies on cloud-based AI.

The beta requires an Apple Intelligence-capable Mac running macOS 27 and initially supports US English.

The redesigned Mac Browser gathers loops, instruments, effect patches and a Splice library together. On-device analysis automatically classifies and tags added sounds, and dragging in a loop finds matching audio. This sounds very similar to how Logic pro for iPad’s browser currently works.

Anyone with folders full of vaguely named samples will understand the appeal…

More control over drums

The enhanced Stem Splitter lets users isolate, replace or rebalance drum parts without original multitracks.

There’s also a Sergio George Producer Pack featuring piano, salsa and Latin jazz sounds. Voice Memo Studio Sound reduces ambience and background noise in supported iPhone recordings, with further refinement in Logic.

Apple hasn’t specified a release date or clarified standalone purchasers’ access to each addition. Existing Creator Studio subscribers receive the updates free.
