Schlap is a characterful and colourful program-dependent compressor. It takes inspiration from hardware RMS compressors of the past and evolves them into a modern setting.
You might know Caelum Audio from their two completely free lightweight tape saturation apps Tape Cassette and Tape Cassette 2 or from their recently released Tape Pro, a saturation effect so good it found its way onto my Best Plugins of 2020 list.
