With the release of the M1 chip equipped Macs it’s not hyperbole to say that Apple changed the computing world pretty much overnight…
Well, maybe that is a wee bit hyperbolic… However there is just no denying how unexpectedly capable these entry level machines are.
Hype aside though, being the 1st generation of this new technology means there are going to be some issues for everyday users. When it comes to us GarageBand users, concerns around what plugins are and are not compatible with these new Macs are definitely valid .
So in this video I fired up my new M1 Mac Mini and went through all of the 3rd party Instrument plugins I have installed to see which worked and which didn’t.
