Dear Apple: WHERE Are These GarageBand iOS Features?

GarageBand iOS is fantastic, really powerful and (amazingly) still free.

It has also had no shortage of love lately from Apple. Literally thousands of new loops, instruments and drum kits have been added in the last few months.

So we really don’t have much to complain about right?

WRONG.

Apple are obviously still really committed to further developing and releasing content for GarageBand on iOS. It’s certainly not abandonware by any stretch of the imagination.

Having said that, there are some core features missing that really hold it back from being properly usable as ‘PRO’ Digital Audio Workstation. This in turn drives iOS music makers looking for more editing options to other more robust iOS DAWS like Cubasis 3, for example.
