The Amazon Basics desktop mini usb microphone is the smallest in Amazon’s range of super budget USB microphones. You’d be right in thinking that it’s the underdog in this match up.
Having said that, coming in at just £30/$40 and with sound quality that rivals more expensive USB microphones in its class you shouldn’t count this wee guy out quite yet.

Its fantastic build quality, killer design and superb sound quality make it the desktop USB microphone to beat. Not only that, it’s recently seen a price drop meaning you can pick one of these bad boys up for around £50/$50.
